Friends! Olim in Tech is so excited to announce our next endeavour: workshops! This was something we have been planning for a long time and it is finally here!

About:

Join us for a 4-part Intro to Coding workshop using Python. The curriculum starts with the fundamentals of coding and concludes with Object Oriented Programming. The workshop will be taught in English and is ideal for beginners or people looking to transition their career to more technical roles. This workshop is free of charge. Each session will last approximately 2 hours and students are expected to bring their own laptops.

Teachers:

Lauren Glass is currently a data engineer at Facebook. Previously she taught Web Development, Data Science, and Chatbot Development at Israel Tech Challenge. She made Aliyah 2 years ago from the US.

Omer Goldberg is currently a software engineer at Facebook. He previously taught Web Development at Israel Tech Challenge. He is a consistently featured author of tech and coding content on Medium. He returned to Israel as a teenager after living in the US.
