Job Summary
We are looking for an employment specialist to manage our alumni’s employment services. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up student interviews, managing databases, screening candidates, and managing all placement advertising services. You may also be required to provide information on the best-suited candidate for the position and facilitate the HR department in designing placement structures.
To ensure success as an employment specialist, you should have in-depth knowledge of human resource management, good interpersonal skills, and excellent interview skills. A top-notch employment specialist expertly matches qualified candidates for available positions within a company.
Employment Specialist Responsibilities:
Screen for available positions on job sites, social media sites, and other digital resources.
Assisting HR departments into partners companies with the design and implementation of placement structures.
Screening candidates for available positions.
Setting up and participating in candidate interviews.
Managing and maintaining candidate information databases.
Processing and sending letters of employment.
Managing the recruitment advertising budget.
Conducting post-placement interviews with company employees.
Creating and presenting recruitment reports.
Qualifications
Familiarity with the tech (web development, data science,...) landscape; previous experience working in some facet of the tech industry. Awareness of the tech job market and breadth of opportunities.
Previous recruiting or counseling/coaching experience. Account management or sales experience is a plus.
Comfortable presenting both one-on-one and delivering to a large group.
Able to give constructive, positive feedback to people of diverse professional and life backgrounds.
Previous personal job search experience, and an ability to be relatable.
Resourceful; able to pull educational resources from the community and to tailor lesson plans/meetings based on graduate needs.
Able to manage a large volume of requests and organize systems to keep track of students in various stages. Highly organized & data conscious.
High emotional intelligence; able to empathize with others and can handle other people’s stress.
High-level organizational skills
Hebrew & English speaking and writing
Any other language is a HUGE plus
