They are looking for a Head of Product Design, reporting to their Chief Creative Officer, to work with the StreamElements product, development, and client teams. As the leader of the product design team, you’ll work to standardize and scale their design systems and processes while mentoring a team of innovative designers. The focus of this role will be to constantly progress the level of professionalism, research/data focus, and creativity on this high-growth, high-impact team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the team to ensure creator-centric designs are reflected throughout the entire product lifecycle and vision - Ensure consistency of designs across features - Foster an environment of feedback and continuous improvement through design reviews, etc. - Manage and continue to build the team of product/UI/UX Designers - Ensure appropriate and actionable user research is being conducted and incorporate throughout the design and development lifecycle - Develop and communicate approach/framework of design, value, and philosophy to key stakeholders
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in high-volume product organizations - 5+ years experience leading design teams and implementing new processes/workflows - Experience scaling design operations - Experience working in a high-growth fast-paced environment where users genuinely love the product and want to see it grow and improve - Ability to standardize design processes and workflows - Ability to empathize with and understand users of varying backgrounds and needs
