FIDF (Friends of the Israel Defense Forces) is looking for a Social Media Associate

We are searching for someone who LOVES social media and is particularly passionate about copywriting and content creation. The social media associate will be part of the Marketing department, reporting to the Head of Marketing in the FIDF's Israel office. You will be responsible for monitoring our social media accounts (English) in coordination with our New York office and creating original, creative content from the field as well as the office.

This position includes:

· Full-time position (flexible) from our Tel Aviv office as well as the field

· Daily original content creation from IDF bases, exercises, special events, etc. for our social media platforms (FB, IG, Twitter, YT, and more).

· Writing catchy, innovative, creative copy for our social media pages

· Monitor analytics and draw conclusions for future content

· Developing social media marketing strategies

· Constant work and cooperation with counterparts in the FIDF's US offices

· Assistance in the marketing department's various production assignments

Requirements:

· At least 1-2 years of experience in social media

· Native-level English and excellent Hebrew

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Appreciation for the IDF and the Jewish diaspora

· Creativity, independence, a team player

· Previous copywriting experience – an advantage

· BA in relevant field – an advantage
