A global medical services company located in Tel Aviv is looking for an IT Manager to join their team! The Manager of Information Technology and Security will oversee the development, implementation, and use of technology throughout all offices of the company, working closely with staff to assess user and operational needs. This position reports to the CEO and supervises all IT employees. Other principal working relationships include the management staff, all system users, vendors and consultants. The position will provide general oversight of the IT infrastructure, provisioning, planning, installation and operation. Responsibility includes researching and planning for implementation of the most recent technologies in the industry. Responsibilities: - Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, operation and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals. - Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance. - Work with staff to develop strategies and plans to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation. - Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems. - Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline and discharge. - Develop the IT staff to meet the changing needs of users, groups and offices; new projects and technologies; and varying staff strengths. - Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users. - Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. - Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements. - Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review. - Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. - Manage workstations, laptops, servers, telephony, security solutions, network hardware and equipment. - Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field is required. - 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including both experience in a multi-office environment and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with a combination of information security and risk management required. - Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical staff, to work with the Executive Management of an organization, and to manage multiple concurrent projects. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to work with a wide variety of individuals. - Ability to meet deadlines, to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products, and to take initiative in the development and completion of projects. - Strong project management, organizational and time management skills. - Superior problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills. Ability to deal with complex functional specifications and determine how to best implement them technically. - Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for projects, etc. - Previous hands-on experience in areas such as, Security Operations Center, Network Operations Center, System Administrator / IT Helpdesk support.
