A #1 video creation platform in Tel Aviv is looking for a R&D Group Manager to empower customers to promote anything with the power of videos.
Responsibilities: - Report directly to the VP of R&D and work closely with the Tel-Aviv and Warsaw R&D teams - Provide leadership. You will manage a cross-geography multi-team development group and lead complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects. - Own the development process. You will provide technical direction and oversee the entire software development life cycle of your development group. - Build an exceptional R&D group. You will be responsible for hiring, guiding, and mentoring the members of your group.
Requirements: - You have at least 10 years of development experience. - You have at least 4 years of experience in managing and scaling development teams. - You have solid interpersonal and leadership skills and you are passionate about empowering members of your team. - You have knowledge in web, mobile, back-end, and are familiar with SaaS platforms. - You value diverse perspectives and take everyone’s input into consideration. You speak fluent English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have the “can-do” mindset necessary for a startup environment with hands-on coding skills whenever needed. - BA in either computer science or exact sciences- A must!
