As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will receive hands-on education, training, and mentorship that will enable you to grow, learn, and be successful. Your primary responsibilities will be cold outreach / follow-up with prospects in a timely manner, identifying and qualifying leads in the early stages of their journey with the Butterfly business team.
A successful BDR would be eager to learn and develop themselves, and be a driven self-starter with a deep interest in technology and prepared to perform against goals and consistently meet targets.
Responsibilities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails and present them Butterfly
Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Set up meetings between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people and existing technology
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
Leverage Linkedin Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to prospect more efficiently
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be proactive, creative, and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
At least one year of experience as a BDR, sales or a client-facing role
Preferred
Experience using Salesforce or a CRM
Venture-funded Start-up experience
Experience selling a SaaS product
